Many ink manufacturers also realize that pigment, as one of the most important raw materials for printing inks, not only provides bright colours for the inks, but also the chemical structure and physical properties of its particles will, to a certain extent, affect the printing suitability of the inks, such as the sharpness, rheology, water resistance of offset inks, and the viscosity stability, migration resistance, heat resistance, and light resistance of solvent-based inks. Pigment varieties for four-colour offset printing ink
● Yellow Pigment
Distinguished from the chemical structure, yellow pigment usually takes benzidine yellow series as the main species, this kind of pigment generally has some good application properties, such as high colouring power, pure medium yellow light and suitable transparency, etc., which can meet the basic requirements of ink colour printing.
● Blue Pigment
Blue pigment mostly adopts β-type phthalocyanine blue pigment with excellent physicochemical properties, which is a kind of stable β-type greenish blue pigment. In addition to distinctive colours, it also has good application properties, such as rheology, light resistance and so on.
● Red Pigment
The red pigment generally adopts the pigment varieties of azocolour precipitation red series. In the manufacturing process, this kind of pigment can adopt different technological conditions to produce magenta ink with different degrees of distinctive blue phases for the ink users to choose pigment according to different printing requirements.
Monochrome offset printing ink pigment varieties
In all kinds of monochrome offset printing ink, yellow pigments are used in PY1 and PY3, PY17, PY81, PY83, PY13, PO34, etc. The red pigments are Golden Red PY1 and PY3, and the red pigments are used in PY1 and PY3, and the red pigments are used in PY1 and PY3.
