Introduction

Pigment Red 22 is a synthetic monoazo pigment belonging to the β-naphthol pigment series, derived from diazotized aniline derivatives coupled with β-naphthol. It exhibits a yellowish-red to medium bluish-red shade, with excellent color strength and cost-effectiveness, and has a long application history in the printing ink field. It also features good alkali resistance and soap resistance, as well as moderate solvent resistance. Its core application scenarios are wide-ranging, including printing inks (NC-type printing inks, newspaper inks, packaging inks), fabric dyeing and printing, and coloring for coatings (air-drying paints, latex paints, lower-durability paints).
